 Arman's Journey

I read the book, Arman's Journey.

Arman was seventeen and lived with his mother in a small town. There were fighting in the mountains near his town and the soldiers came into his town and were looking for young man to be soldiers. They tried to make him a soldier but his mother didn't want him to be a soldier because her husband was dead as a soldier.

She made him go to England where her uncle lived.

On the way there, Arman encountered Dani and they became friends. Arman and Dani finally arrived the uncle's house by riding a truck in the hot weather, getting into the very cold and dark water, and sneaking into the cargo of a truck bound for England.

His mother's uncle, Jacob found jobs for them but the money wasn't good and Arman hated the big man, Fred, they worked for. One day, he fell in love with Rose who taught them English and she was a  daughter of Fred. 

Fred watched that Arman and Rose were kissing and he made Arman go back to his hometown.

When he went back there, there weren't any soldiers in the mountains then, so he could live there again. Also, Rose came to Turkey to teach English.


I was glad because the book had a happy ending!!

FROGGY GETS DRESSED It was cold. Froggy woke up and looked out the window. "Snow!Snow!" he sang. "I want to play in the snow!" "Go back to sleep, Froggy," said his mother. "Don't you know? Frogs are supposed to sleep all winter. Wake up when the snow melts." "No!No!" cried Froggy. "I'm awake! Awake! I want to go out and play in the snow." Froggy did not want to sleep all winter and go out and play in the snow, so he got dressed and flopped outside. But, he forgot to put on his pants, so he back inside. And, he forgot his coat, hat and so on and he went back inside again and again to change clothes. Finally, he was tired to get dressed and he went back to sleep. I thought Froggy was so forgetful. FROGGYS HALLOWEEN

FROGGYS HALLOWEEN For Froggy, Halloween meant candy. But it also meant dressing up. And he wondered, "What should I be for Halloween?" "I know" cried Froggy. "Super Frog" "Flying over the city. Faster than a dragonfly! Stronger than a bullfrog!" A week before Halloween, he dreamed of dressing up as various things, such as Super frog. However, he wanted become something scarier, so he decided to dress up like vampire, but it was not good. So all week at school, he wondered. In the morning of Halloween, he became the Frog Prince. That night, all the ghosts and goblins crept out to trick-or-treat, and he was given tons of candy in his candy bag. But, his sword had torn a hole in it, so by the time he got home his candy was all gone... This was a fanny book. Finally, his mother made chocolate-covered flies, so he looks so happy. Cinderella I read Cinderella . Cinderella is a girl who has cruel mother and sisters, and they did mean things to her. One day, an invitation to a ball was delivered, but she was told stay home by them. When she was crying because she couldn’t go to the ball, Fairy appeared and said to help her go to the ball. With the fairy’s magic, she could get beautiful dress and a pair of glass slippers. She went to the ball by a pumpkin carriage which also made by fairy. But, these things will only last until midnight, so she should go back home until midnight. She met a handsome prince in the ball, and they danced together. Then, the clock struck midnight, and she rushed away to get home, leaving one of her glass slippers on the stairs. The next day, the prince asked his servant to find her with her shoe. Finally, the shoe was a perfect fit for her, and she married the Prince and had a wonderful life together.
